Patrick Simpson

Vice President, Reservoir Engineering

Patrick Simpson joined Arena Energy as a Reservoir Engineer in 2014 with over thirteen years of domestic and international engineering experience. He has participated in projects both onshore and offshore throughout his career utilizing his leadership and technical expertise in evaluating acquisitions, identifying drilling opportunities, and coordinating corporate reserve reports.  Prior to joining Arena, Mr. Simpson spent 10 years with Newfield Exploration serving in various capacities, as well as providing subsurface evaluation and field study expertise for his own corporate endeavor along the Texas Gulf Coast. Mr. Simpson earned a B.S. with Honors in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in 2000.
