Joey DeAgazio

Geologist

Joey DeAgazio came to Arena Energy in 2023. As a geologist for the company, he is responsible for utilizing well logs, seismic and well data to generate and evaluate opportunities in the Gulf of Mexico. He has worked on conventional and unconventional prospects and assets, most notably at Thyssen Petroleum, where he began as a graduate student intern and progressed through a succession of roles over the course of eight years. He has an MS in petroleum geology from the
University of Houston and a BS in environmental geoscience from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
