Becky Mery

Human Resources Business Partner

Becky Mery came to Arena Energy in 2022. As a human resources business partner, she acts as a bridge between the human resources department and the rest of the organization, focused on aligning Arena’s HR practices with its business objectives. Her responsibilities include HR strategic planning, talent management, employee relations, change management, HR compliance, and supporting employees broadly in an advisory role. Mrs. Mery has more than 15 years of experience in diverse human resources positions, in oil and gas as well as other sectors. Before coming to Arena, she was the human resources manager at Electronic Power Design; she also served as an HR generalist at Furie Petroleum. Mrs. Mery completed two years of graduate coursework in industrial organizational psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma before earning a BA in social sciences from the University of Houston-Downtown. She is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
